Katelyn here! I see you stumbled upon my little corner of the web. Let me take a moment to introduce myself and fill you in on what this site is all about. What you really need to know first and foremost is where this blog derives from: this is all about a girl who is passionate about the God she loves and serves. I am out to tell world about this God…this God who loved the world so much that He went on a mission by sending His perfect Son Jesus to save us all from this terrible plague upon us: sin. You will find out quickly that I have my passion topics, like Biblical literacy, spiritual formation, abolishing idols and loving God with our whole selves. You’ll probably pick up pretty quickly that I’m a big Bible nerd that loves to talk about cultural context of the Word as well as, dive into Greek and Hebrew garb. I LOVE fun facts and I’m looking to pepper in those fun facts in when I can.

Here is my mission is: to teach, edify and challenge those of us who follow Jesus. I’m here to say the hard things like: we need to take sin seriously, sis, as well as we need to die to ourselves and follow the Spirit, friend. These messages may not be what the world deems as popular, but here we are out to point people to the truth of the gospel and not necessarily tell people what they want to hear. For those who may not be following Jesus yet, then I’m out for my life to be a big billboard sign that points straight at Him. He is truly what our hearts are seeking for whether we know it or not and friend, He truly is the best part of existence. Our lives are not our own. We were bought with a high price of the blood of Christ and so our purpose is to live for His glory…. there is blessing and abundance in that!
